Proof that something was true at a moment in time.

What it is

If a robot assistant needs to prove that a website was working, that a file has not been tampered with, or that a company's security certificate is real, it asks us. We go and look, then hand back a signed note saying exactly what we saw and when. The signature means nobody can later forge or quietly edit that note — including us.

Like a notary public, but for the internet, and it answers in under a second.
